Millersport Small Animal Clinic is owned and operated by Dr. Christy Mendolera and Dr. Ron Malo. Both have had a love for the care of animals from a young age. They met as undergraduates at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY.

Dr. Mendolera earned her Bachelor of Science from Canisius College in 1995. She then completed her Doctorate Degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Mendolera attended Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine. 

Dr. Malo completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at Canisius College in 1994. He completed his Masters Degree, focusing on Environmental Physics, two years later while attending the University at Buffalo. Dr. Malo also earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Malo focuses on surgical and orthopedic veterinary medicine.

Dr. Mendolera and Dr. Malo were hand selected for a prestigious Internship Fellowship while completing their DVMs. The internship took place at the Metropolitan Animal Hospital in Akron, OH. While interning their focus was on Emergency Medicine.
